The Executive Governor of Jigawa State, Umar Namadi, alongside leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on Saturday received a Sallah homage from former Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Muhammad Babandede.
The visit, which took place as part of the 2026 Eid-el-Fitr celebrations, underscored the strong ties between the state government and key stakeholders within the ruling party.
During the visit, Babandede commended Governor Namadi for what he described as dedicated service and commitment to the development and welfare of the people of Jigawa State. He offered prayers for the governor’s continued success in office and the sustenance of peace and progress across the state.
He further reaffirmed his unwavering support for the administration and the leadership of the APC in Jigawa, noting the importance of unity and cooperation in advancing good governance.
Babandede also extended Sallah greetings to traditional rulers, political office holders, religious leaders, party stakeholders, and the people of Jigawa State, urging continued prayers and support for the leadership at all levels.
Governor Namadi, while acknowledging the visit, expressed appreciation for the show of solidarity and goodwill, particularly during the festive period, and reiterated his administration’s commitment to inclusive development and service delivery.
