BAUCHI EMIRATES: New emir of Bununu receives appointment letter

The newly appointed Emir of Bununu, Alh. Jibrin D. Hassan, has received his appointment letter from the Bauchi State Government. 

The ceremony took place at Bununu Town, the headquarters of Tafawa Balewa Local Government Area.

Presenting the appointment letter, the Secretary to the State Government, Aminu Hammayo, urged the people of the emirate to rally behind the new Emir to promote peace and development in the area. 

He reminded the Emir of his statutory responsibilities to work in line with the law and the constitution for sustainable growth and development.

The Emir of Bununu, Alh. Jibrin D. Hassan, expressed gratitude to Governor Bala Mohammed for the recognition, stating that the entire Jhar Nation would remain grateful. 

Hassan pledged to run an open-door policy, carrying every tribe along in the scheme of things for sustainable growth and development.

The new Emir’s appointment has been widely welcomed, and expectations are high for his leadership in promoting peace, stability, and development in the emirate.
