Danmodi Students Care Empowers Over 1,000 Students In Kiyawa LGA

The Danmodi Students’ Care has empowered over 1,000 students in Kiyawa Local Government through its various scholarship and support programs.

According to Ambassador Muhammad Salisu Seeker, SSA on Students’ Affairs to the Jigawa State Governor, the organization has provided free JAMB pins to 297 students in 2024 and 358 students in 2025. Additionally, the organization has given out scholarships to 12 students, while over 29 students have benefited from individual scholarships.

The organization has also provided financial support to Master’s students, with 7 students receiving N50,000 each in 2024 and 13 students receiving the same amount in 2025. Professional students, including ICAN/ANAN and law students, have also benefited from the organization’s support, with 3 and 4 students receiving N50,000 each in 2025 and 2024, respectively.

Furthermore, the organization has provided support to PhD students, with 2 students receiving N100,000 each in 2025. The organization’s efforts have also led to the admission of over 103 students from Kiyawa LGA into various universities in Nigeria.

In addition to its scholarship programs, Danmodi Students’ Care has provided 1000 school uniforms and other learning materials to reintegrate dropout school children. The organization has also given out 4 bicycles to junior and senior secondary students and 1 wheelchair to students with disabilities.

The organization’s initiatives have been widely praised, with many seeing it as a beacon of hope for students in Kiyawa Local Government. Danmodi Students’ Care’s commitment to empowering students and promoting education in the community is expected to have a lasting impact on the lives of students in the area.
