The people of Farindutse town in Gwaram Local Government Area of Jigawa State have commended Governor Malam Umar Namadi Danmodi for the provision and installation of electricity transformers in the community, describing the intervention as timely and impactful.
Speaking on behalf of the Farindutse community, Yushau Chiroma expressed gratitude to the state government for addressing the long-standing electricity challenges faced by the area, noting that the provision of transformers will significantly improve power supply after years of hardship.
According to him, Farindutse and its surrounding communities had suffered from inadequate and unstable electricity supply for over 13 years, a situation that negatively affected economic activities and quality of life.
“The provision of these transformers will bring lasting relief to our people. It will improve electricity distribution, reduce power outages, and enhance the daily lives of residents,” Chiroma said.
He explained that the improved power supply would boost small and medium-scale businesses, support artisans, enhance commercial activities, and create an enabling environment for socio-economic development in the area.
Chiroma further noted that the transformer project is being executed with high standards, adding that installation work has reached an advanced stage and is close to completion.
The community offered prayers for the success of the project and appreciated Governor Namadi’s leadership, as well as the efforts of all officials and stakeholders involved in ensuring the successful delivery of the project.
“We pray that Almighty Allah continues to guide the Governor and grant success to his administration as it delivers people-oriented projects that positively impact communities,” he said.
The people of Farindutse also expressed satisfaction with the governor’s leadership style and pledged their continued support, expressing hope for the continuation of his administration under the 4+4 agenda.
