The Jigawa Coalition for Climate Action, Economic Empowerment, and Responsive Governance (JiCERGO), a newly formed coalition of leading civil society organizations in Jigawa State, has elected its inaugural leadership team.
The newly elected leadership team includes: Comrade Shuaibu Kafingana as Co-Chair, Mustapha Babura as Chairman, Economic Empowerment, and Ahmed Ilallah as Chairman, Climate Action among other members.
JiCERGO is a bold, collective movement committed to driving sustainable development, promoting inclusive governance, and advancing community resilience across Jigawa. The coalition’s mission is focused on two strategic pillars: Climate Action and Economic Empowerment.
The leadership team has expressed their commitment to working tirelessly to deliver real and lasting impact, urging all members and partners to put Jigawa State first and work together to achieve the coalition’s goals.
