The Jigawa Education Accountability Forum (JEAF) recently held a meeting with stakeholders to discuss potential partnership with the Beta Nigeria campaign.

The meeting, organized by Partnership for Learning for All in Nigeria (PLANE), aimed to explore ways to strengthen collaboration and drive meaningful change in the education sector.

According to Bukola Bayo Phillip, PLANE Communication and Knowledge Manager, the partnership would focus on addressing key challenges facing the education sector, including teacher shortages, out-of-school children, and government accountability.

Mustapha B. Ahmad, PLANE State Team Lead, emphasized that the engagement would explore how accountability forums in the state can play a role in the Beta Nigeria campaign, aligning it with existing priorities and ensuring local leadership, ownership, and sustainability.

The Beta Nigeria campaign is an advocacy initiative dedicated to advancing basic education for every child in Nigeria.

By partnering with JEAF, the campaign aims to amplify its impact and drive collective action towards improving education outcomes in Jigawa State and beyond.

The stakeholders present at the forum expressed their commitment to working together to improve basic education in Jigawa State.

The partnership between JEAF and Beta Nigeria is expected to yield positive results, enhancing the quality of education and promoting a brighter future for children in the state
