Director career services Abubakar Tatari Ali polytechnic Bauchi Muhammad Auwal Sulaiman stated this at an opening ceremony of a two day intensive training for final year students on resume writing and interview skills.
Equipping students of tertiary institutions especially final year students with practical skills on how to draft a professional resume and curriculum vitae to tailor in accordance with their prospective careers
this will no doubt help them achieve succeses in the event of opportunities as the contemporary Job market demand skills rather than just qualifications.
this is what prompted Rector Abubakar Tatari polytechnic Bauchi Hashim Sabo Bello who was represented by his Deputy Alawiyya Musa to organize this training to acquint the students with necessary skills.
Director career Services Muhammad Auwal Sulaiman explained that the training which is Sponsored by tertiary education trust fund is to empower the students with practical skills on how to perfectly write a resume amidst the global competitive job market demand
participants who were interviewed appreciated both the school and the TETFUND for the intervention,expressed hope that the training will positively impact them to compete favourable with their counterpart globally.
