The State Taskforce on Petroleum Products has described the recent fire outbreak at AA RANO filling Station in Kazaure as a great tragedy.
In a statement issues to newsmen by Ismai’la Ibrahim Dutse public relations officer, office of the secretary to the Government of Jigawa State on May 3, 2026, the Taskforce Chairman Colonel Muhammad Alhassan Retired stated this during a sympathy visit to the Filling Station in Kazaure.
He said already a high powered government delegation headed by the Secretary to the State Government Malam Bala Ibrahim has paid a sympathy visit over the fire incident.
Colonel Muhammad Alhassan described the incident as an act from God and urged Petrol Stations to take more safety and precautionary measures in their respective filling Stations to avoid Fire outbreak incidences.
Responding the Manager of the Filling Station Malam Idris Yahuza Turaki commended Governor Malam Umar Namadi for sending two separate delegations to sympathize with them.
He said the visit is an indication of governor’s concerned over the plight of his people.
The manager said already renovation work on the damaged section has commenced in earnest, assuring that they would soon begin normal business operations.
It would be recalled that a Tanker loaded with more than Sixty Thousand Liter of PMS bursted into flames at the Kazaure AA RANO Filling Station last Month but no live was lost during the incident.
