From Abubakar Muhammadu, Bauchi
The Bauchi State Health Contributory Management Agency, BASHMA, has enrolled newly born quadruplets in Azare Local Government Area into the Federal Government’s Basic Healthcare Provision Fund.
Executive Secretary of the Agency, Ibrahim Inuwa, stated this during his visit to the Federal University of Health Sciences Teaching Hospital, Azare, where the mother and her babies are receiving care.
The visit by the Executive Secretary of BASHMA, Ibrahim Inuwa, to the Federal University of Health Sciences Teaching Hospital, Azare, was aimed at ensuring the nursing mother and her quadruplets have access to basic healthcare services.
It will be recalled that recently, a 35-year-old woman, Hauwa Usman, gave birth to four babies, two males and two females after her fifth delivery.
The father of the babies, Buba Adamu, from Gambaki village in Katagum Local Government Area, appreciated BASHMA and other individuals for their support.
Despite his vulnerable status, Malam Buba expressed gratitude to Allah for the blessing.
It is hoped that more support will come from the public to enable the family to raise the children in good health.
