Former Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Muhammad Babandede, has condoled with the family of former federal lawmaker, Hon. Abba Anas Adamu Laushi, who died after reportedly being held by bandits.
Babandede visited the family of the late politician to express his sympathy over the tragic incident, describing the death of Hon. Laushi as a painful loss not only to his immediate family, but also to his constituency and political associates.
As part of efforts to support the grieving family, the APC chieftain presented foodstuff and financial assistance, while assuring them of his continued concern and readiness to assist whenever necessary.
He called on the children and heirs of the late lawmaker to preserve the values, humility and service-oriented life their father was known for, stressing that integrity and kindness remain enduring legacies.
Babandede also prayed for Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased and grant him eternal peace, while urging the family to remain patient and prayerful in the face of the tragedy.
