Former Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service and APC senatorial aspirant for Jigawa North East, Muhammad Babandede, OFR, OCM (Spain), CGI (Rtd.), has congratulated Vice President Kashim Shettima on his re-nomination as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s running mate for the 2027 presidential election.
Babandede described the re-nomination as a deserved recognition of Shettima’s commitment, experience, and service to the nation, saying it reflects the confidence reposed in his leadership.
He expressed optimism that the continued partnership between President Tinubu and Vice President Shettima would strengthen efforts to address Nigeria’s economic and security challenges while advancing national development.
Babandede also prayed for Allah’s guidance, wisdom, and protection for both leaders as they continue to serve the country.
“I warmly congratulate Your Excellency on your re-nomination and pray that Almighty Allah grants you and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu the wisdom, strength, and good health to continue leading Nigeria towards greater peace, unity, and prosperity,” he said.
